Soft rug

The Soft rug is woven by hand on a loom in India, with a cotton weft and a pile of 100% bamboo silk only 3 to 4 mm high. Twenty-five shades of gray are worked into it, and the bamboo silk catches the light differently depending on where you stand, so the gray shifts and shimmers across the surface.

The drawing shows a rectangular rug; custom sizes can also be ordered, which helps when the rug has to fit a specific seating group or bed.
