Mezz'aria chair

The Mezz'aria chair, designed by Daniele Lago in 2025, has a seat whose back edge extends beyond the legs with no support underneath it. The legs are slanted, and the shell rests on them with a little spring, which makes sitting feel slightly flexible rather than rigid.

The light look hides a tested structure: the factory states loads up to 180 kg and 100,000 simulated cycles of use. Seats are quilted, smooth or in wood, with 22 seat finishes including Darwin, Please, Francis, Axum and Barkley fabrics and Ecopelle Bloom. Legs come in metal, finished Titanio, Peltro or Nero, or in Finewood oak. The Mezz'aria armchair shares the suspended seat.
