Nacho chair

The Nacho chair, designed by Archirivolto in 2023, wraps a thick upholstered seat in a firm outer shell. Soft folds run across the padding, and the seam where inner and outer parts join becomes a visible line, most noticeable when two materials are combined.

The back shell is covered in the faux leather Ecopelle Bloom. For the inner upholstery there are 13 choices, among them Please, Francis, Barkley, Frosty, Penny and Barnum fabrics and Pelle Panama leather. Underneath sits a thin metal frame in Peltro or Titanio steel, which keeps the full seat from looking heavy. The Nacho armchair, added a year later, takes the same shell-and-padding idea to lounge seating.
