Novice chair

Novice is a chair by Daniele Lago from 2025, with a curved, enveloping seat set on a conical base. It comes in two characters: fully upholstered in fabric, where the covers on the seat and base can be removed for cleaning, or in wood, listed as Finewood Novice. The name is French and refers to a debutante at her first ball.

The seat and base share one finish group of 23 options. Besides the wood there are fabrics such as Darwin, Please, Francis, Barkley, Axum and Frosty and the faux leather Ecopelle Bloom. Padding is generous, and glides under the base let the chair slide easily across the floor.
