Dangla chair
Dangla grew out of a simple idea: a chair that can be dressed in different fabrics. Luca De Bona of LAGO STUDIO designed it in 2011 as a slim, tapering metal frame that forms the legs, seat and back, with a fabric cover that goes over it.
Covers can be smooth or crimped, and there is also a version with a zip; they are interchangeable, so the chair can change color or texture without changing the chair itself. The back flexes slightly backward when you lean on it, which makes sitting more comfortable, and the thin frame is strong enough for everyday use at the dining table or in the living room. The catalog lists 14 cover options, among them Please, Ecopelle Bloom and Penny.
