Air sofa

The Air sofa from 2011 is built from frames, backrests, seats and armrests that hook together with a patented mechanism. Depending on how the parts are assembled, one composition can later be split into two sofas or three armchairs, and seat depth, width and backrest height are chosen when ordering. The Air armchair uses the same system and can be joined to it.

Beneath the sofa there are two kinds of support: legs of extra-clear tempered glass, or metal in Titanio or Peltro steel. Either way, the upholstered body is lifted visibly off the floor. Upholstery is selected from 14 options, Darwin, Please, Francis and Ecopelle Bloom among them. Design by Daniele Lago.
