Air bed

With the Air bed, Daniele Lago (2008) set the bed base on legs of extra-clear tempered glass, so the whole platform seems to hover above the bedroom floor. There is no bed frame boxing in the mattress, which keeps the room easier to clean, and LED light can be added beneath the base to stress the effect. It comes in single, double and queen sizes.

Most of the choice lies in the headboard: Wildwood oak, smooth or ruched fabric, a wall-mounted panel with shelves, or a freestanding one paired with bedside tables. Headboards, back panels and bedside tables attach to the base at any point with patented brackets and can be moved later. There are 17 headboard finishes, and the glass legs are clear or smoked gray.
