Air sideboard

The Air sideboard brought a low cabinet into the system, carried not by legs or a plinth but by sheets of transparent tempered glass. The glass is almost invisible, so the sideboard reads as a block hovering above the floor of the living space. It does not need a wall: in the version finished on the back as well, it can stand free in the room and divide it.

Body and fronts are lacquered, and the fronts can also be glossy or matt glass or one of 6 further surfaces, among them Vetro Metal, Animal Zero and Marble, Metal, Wood or Home Couture XGlass. The design is by Daniele Lago and dates from 2006; the taller Air storage system and bookcase stand on the same glass supports.
