Plenum sideboard

Plenum, a sideboard designed by Franco Lago in 2018, is a closed block clad in glass on every visible face: front, top and sides. Because the glass wraps the whole volume, panel edges and their thickness disappear and the piece reads as one solid shape.

The doors slide on the same plane as the front, so nothing projects when they open, and a light touch reveals a roomy interior. The cladding offers seven finish families, from gloss or matte lacquered glass to Vetro Metal, the XGlass lines in marble, metal, wood and Home Couture, and Animal Zero. The structure behind is Nobilitato Pomice melamine, and the supports are graphite-colored metal.
