Materia sideboard

The Materia sideboard, designed by Daniele Lago in 2019, is a straight-lined volume clad in 4 mm glass. It can hang on the wall or stand on metal supports. The doors have no handles: a light press of the hand opens them, so the front reads as one uninterrupted surface. Inside, lighting is built into the glass shelves.

Front, top and sides come in 9 finishes, matt or polished. Besides plain glass and Vetro Metal, the XGlass surfaces reproduce marble, metal, wood or fabric, with a pattern that carries on from one face to the next. The structure is Pomice melamine. The rest of the Materia range covers bedroom, hallway and living room: chest of drawers, bedside tables, console, coffee table and a wall storage system.
