Materia storage system

For the TV wall of a living room, the Materia storage system puts together closed, glass-clad blocks with large compartments behind the fronts. Daniele Lago designed it in 2021. The blocks can stand on the floor or hang on the wall, and glass cable ducts are set into the top, so the wires stay out of sight without interrupting the surface.

The finish list has 7 entries, from lacquer and glossy or matt glass to Vetro Metal and the XGlass family. With Marble XGlass the veining runs over tops, sides and fronts as if the unit were cut from a single stone, while Metal XGlass gives an iridescent sheen. For a TV unit with drawers or flap doors, see the separate Materia TV model.
