36e8 storage system

36e8 began in 2003 as a living room wall unit based on a square module, in contrast to the usual rectangular cabinets. Daniele Lago built the system on that square, its multiples and its fractions, so compositions can be shaped freely across a wall. Fronts have no handles because the opening mechanism sits inside the units; LED lighting can be added.

Glass showcases are framed by a lacquered aluminum profile holding extra-clear or smoked glass; their flap or door mechanisms are concealed in the mitred joint and lit from inside. Glass can be mixed with marble, metal, wood and fabric looks, from eight finish options including Wildwood, Vetro Metal and XGlass. For the TV wall the line continues as 36e8 TV, 36e8 Glass TV and 36e8 Cinema.
