36e8 kitchen

Designed by Daniele Lago in 2009, the 36e8 kitchen is made of plain volumes in which worktop, doors and side panels share one material. Its hallmark is the wall-mounted layout: base and tall units hang clear of the floor, keeping the room visually light, and islands can be raised the same way. The modular build lets different materials sit side by side and the composition be reworked later.

Doors open with Flapp, a patented handle that barely shows on the front and lets the grain of a marble or wood finish run on unbroken. Units come in gloss or matt glass, four XGlass looks, Animal Zero, Wildwood or Fenix laminate, with tops also in laminate, MDi, Steel+ or quartz. The 36e8 Cut kitchen uses a groove handle instead.
