30mm storage system

30mm is a wall storage system by Daniele Lago from 2003, drawn across the wall in lines of shelving. A patented fixing built into the sides lets the whole arrangement hang suspended, and since nothing in the structure dictates a set layout, shelves, back panels and cases can follow the shape of the room. It also combines with 36e8 units.

Between the shelves, back panels in contrasting materials are lit by integrated LEDs. Glass display cases come in XGlass with marble, metal, wood or fabric effects, alongside lacquer with gloss or matt glass, Vetro Metal and Wildwood, eight options in all. Walls are chosen from preset configurations or planned with the factory's interior designers. The 30mm bookcase, designed a few years later, uses the same fixing for open shelving.
