30mm bookcase

Designed by Daniele Lago in 2006, the 30mm bookcase either hangs on the wall or stands on the floor. The patented wall fixing is concealed inside the side panel, so a suspended composition seems to float. There is no fixed structural grid: shelves and uprights are arranged into free, dynamic shapes planned for a specific wall, and the bookcase can be combined with 36e8 storage units.

Glass display cases with built-in LED lighting can be added. The fronts have eight finish options, among them lacquer in the factory palette with gloss or matt glass, Vetro Metal, and XGlass with a marble, metal, wood or Home Couture fabric look. Lacquering is water-based. The 30mm storage system applies the same idea to a complete wall unit with back panels.
