Hero sofa

Hero is a sofa by Mauro Lipparini, 2022, in which bold geometric arms and backrests close around the seats. The blocks interlock and some project beyond the others, yet the edges stay soft. Tailored upholstery with skilled quilting sets a rhythm across the inner surfaces, and the contrast of light and shadow along the stitching gives the sofa a lively look.

Thanks to its modular molded structure, Hero can be arranged as a straight sofa or as a corner sofa with a chaise longue for the living room. Covers are chosen from 14 options, including Darwin, Please, Francis, Axum, Barkley and Frosty. Next to Happening by the same designer, where seat and back merge into one soft volume, Hero is defined by the geometric blocks around the seat.
