Westside sofa
Westside, a 2019 system by Jean-Marie Massaud, is built from upholstered modules that simply stand next to each other with no joints. The same pieces give a classic corner sofa or a double-sided island in the middle of the living room, and a chaise longue, a pouf and a movable backrest that sits on the pouf extend the layout further.
There are three arm options: a 200 mm arm 580 mm high, a slim leather arm, or no arm at all. Back cushions come plain, with a roller or with a headrest, and the backs can be fitted with a shelf, an open compartment or a small table with an optional drawer. The frame is wood on a painted MDF base, the cushions polyurethane foam in several densities under cotton and feather. Fabric and leather covers are both removable.
