Ernest sofa

Design: Jean-Marie Massaud
Year: 2024
Item no.: DF-S7955

Comfort modeled on a down cushion is the starting point of Ernest, a modular sofa that Jean-Marie Massaud designed in 2024. Seat and back are molded flexible polyurethane with a down insert, over a frame of wood and wood-based board, which gives every element its soft, slightly deconstructed shape.

The system is made of straight and angled seat elements, separate armrests, poufs and coffee tables that slot into the composition as end, corner or central pieces. From these come small or large sofas, straight or L-shaped, and a pouf placed in front of an element turns it into a chaise longue. The removable cover is fabric or leather, and the rear feet are plastic.
