Bristol sofa
Jean-Marie Massaud designed the Bristol sofa system in 2013 and kept refining it until 2021 to make the seat more comfortable. It is sold as fixed sofas and as a modular system: end units with or without arms, central and corner units, a chaise longue, a day bed and poufs combine into straight or corner layouts, and an inclined element turns the corner at an angle for curved compositions.
The back takes a single or double cushion, loose cushions or a comfort cushion of feather around a polyurethane core. Frame and seat are molded polyurethane. Arms are slim; a fixed arm 482 mm high, a headrest and lumbar cushions are optional. The recessed feet are 45 mm high as standard or 65 mm, and covers are fabric or removable leather.
