Sand sofa

Sand is a modular sofa from 2019 by Daniele Lago, with soft, rounded seats on metal supports. Bases come in different sizes to match the modules, and the backrests can either be fixed or stand on their own: weights built into them keep them steady, so they can be moved around the seat to change the layout of the living room.

The supports are steel in Peltro or Titanio. Seat and backrests are covered in one of 15 options, such as Darwin, Francis, Axum, Barkley, Penny or Frosty, or the faux leather Ecopelle Bloom. The Sand armchair, added four years later, takes the same rounded lines into a single seat.
