Londy sofa

Londy is a modular sofa by Pearson Lloyd from 2024. The name and the shapes come from Lundy, an island off the coast of Devon, and each seat module is treated as a separate island with its own outline. Linear seats, chaise ends and corner units of various shapes can be joined into a composition, and the same line also includes sofa beds and freestanding chaise longues.

The tall backrest curves around the sitter and is offered in two sizes. Because the back is finished as carefully as the front, the sofa can stand in the middle of a room rather than against a wall. The catalog lists 15 upholstery fabrics, including Darwin, Francis, Axum, Barkley, Frosty and Penny. The Londy coffee table is designed to sit between the modules.
