LagoLinea Kids bookcase

LagoLinea Kids is the children's room version of the wall-hung bookcase that Daniele Lago designed in 2009. With no structural ties between the parts, the shelves can be shaped into a tree, a creature or any figure a child likes, drawn like a line on paper and lacquered in any of 32 colors.

The slim sides conceal a patented fixing that holds sides and shelves on the wall. The paint is water-based and solvent-free, so no harmful VOCs reach the air in the room. Glass display boxes can be added with polished or matt fronts or in 6 other finishes, among them Vetro Metal, XGlass marble, wood and Home Couture, and Animal Zero. The same system is used to make desks and beds.
