Zenit bookcase

Zenit is a bookcase by Giuseppe Bavuso built on uprights that are fixed between floor and ceiling and always made to measure for the room. The shelves and other elements hang from them wherever they are wanted, in any number and at any height, so the layout can follow the books and objects rather than a fixed grid.

A hooking system designed for Zenit holds each element firmly to the uprights and lets it be leveled precisely. The same uprights reappear in the Zenit walk-in closet, which applies this open structure to clothes storage in the bedroom.
