Opus bookcase

Opus is a modular bookcase by Giuseppe Bavuso made entirely of extruded aluminum. Its grid is built from square and rectangular cells combined freely, so each composition has its own rhythm of openings, from a low unit under a window to a tall wall of shelves.

Both faces are finished, which means Opus can stand in the middle of a room and separate a living area from a study. Some cells can take drawers or units closed by a flap door, for things that should not stay on view. The system is planned for homes as well as for offices and professional studios.
