Ori chair
Ori is a wooden chair by Giuseppe Bavuso, built with hand-cut joints and careful hand sanding so the frame reads as one continuous piece. Its backrest is a single curved band of wood that bends forward to become the armrests, relying on the natural flexibility of the timber. It works at a dining table or at a desk.
The seat rests on elastic webbing and gives a feeling closer to a small armchair than to an ordinary chair. There are two seat options: a slim padded cushion covered in fabric or leather, or a woven cord seat. Lines and details are kept restrained, in keeping with contemporary architecture.
