Mad out armchair
In 2023 Studio Marcel Wanders brought the Mad family outdoors, and this armchair is the compact piece of the Mad out line, meant for terraces and gardens. Its lines curve around the sitter, and the backrest is a panel of hand-woven rope, the same detail used on the Mad out sofa.
The frame is stainless steel covered in tubular polypropylene rope, with three rope colors to choose from. The seat is molded flexible polyurethane on plastic feet, padded with polyester fiber under a removable cover from the outdoor fabric range. The back cushion is recycled PET polyester around a polyurethane insert, and an extra cushion in recycled PET can be added. The Mad Out coffee table completes the group.
