Steps stool

The Steps stool belongs to the Steps family designed by Monica Graffeo in 2008 and is made for kitchen islands and peninsulas. It keeps a backrest, and both back and seat are built from strips of industrial felt, curved and turned on their thickness so they stay firm under weight and soft to sit on.

The frame is fully recyclable aluminum, and the stool can be taken apart; according to the factory, these choices cut its environmental impact by up to half. The listed finishes are felt for the seat and graphite metal for the structure. The Steps chair offers the same felt and frame in the form of a regular chair.
