Bounce stool

Bounce is a stool by Daniele Lago with a touch of humor. Its support is a spiral that coils like a spring beneath the seat, so the piece looks as if it might bounce when you sit down. In practice it does not: the coil is shaped to hold the body steady, and the seat on top is kept deliberately simple, which makes the curving base stand out even more.

The open spiral keeps the stool visually light, and in a room it works as an unexpected accent rather than a background object. The catalog lists 21 finish options, including fabrics such as Francis, Axum, Barkley, Frosty and Penny, so the seat can pick up a color from the rest of the interior or contrast with it.
