N.O.W. Weightless Kids wardrobe
N.O.W. Weightless Kids is a wardrobe that hangs above a bed or a desk in a child's room, using wall space that usually stays empty. Daniele Lago designed it in 2007. The volumes are held by a double wall fixing system, and the wardrobe can be fully suspended or combined with column units that reach down to the floor.
The handle-free doors are bands of different widths in glossy glass or lacquered wood, arranged in a freely chosen color sequence. For doors and visible sides the factory lists 8 finishes, among them glossy and matt glass, Vetro Metal, mirror and XGlass, while the plain sides come in melamine or lacquer. Being modular, the wardrobe is planned to fit the particular room.
