Janeiro is a table by Bartoli Design from 2019, and its base is a block of concrete modeled on Rio de Janeiro's Sugarloaf Mountain. Two solid domes stand side by side in balance, and the top sits on their summit as if balanced there. Inside the concrete, a structural steel element connects base and top.

The base keeps a natural, textured concrete surface in anthracite. Tops are round, oval or rectangular and come in 9 finishes: clear or smoky gray glass, polished or matt glass, Vetro Metal, XGlass with marble, metal or wood looks, and wood. With a transparent top, the full shape of the concrete stays visible.
