Chapeau table

Chapeau is a 2025 table by Monica Armani in which the base sets the tone. Its sculptural pedestal changes outline depending on where you stand, and the top projects beyond it as a cantilever, so the surface seems to rest on almost nothing. An engineered system inside keeps the table steady despite that overhang.

There are two shapes, oval and round, with top and base always matching. The top may be polished or matt glass or XGlass printed with marble, metal, wood or Home Couture fabric effects, while top and base together can be made in resin, Finewood or marble; lacquer is also among the finishes. The table is meant for homes and for contract projects alike.
