Extendable Air table

Extendable Air is a dining table by Daniele Lago from 2006, suited to a kitchen as well as a dining or living room. When more people come, the extensions pull out much like a drawer, and the extra pieces for the top and the sides are held by magnets, giving room for up to four more chairs.

The top is Wildwood, a light solid oak with a three-dimensional grain, heat-treated so it stands up to wear and spills. It rests on legs of tempered glass, clear or smoked, which tolerate knocks, heat and swings in temperature. Each leg has a transparent rubber foot and is attached to the top by an adjustable fitting that keeps the table steady.
