Mondrian chest of drawers
The Mondrian chest of drawers works like a small piece of architecture for the bedroom: 155 cm long, 50 cm deep and 78 cm high, made of interlocking blocks: drawers next to closed cupboards, with open niches left for books or objects.
Every surface, including the drawer fronts, is upholstered in leather of category B, C or D over a wooden structure. A vertical bronzed brass insert crosses the piece and marks where one volume meets the next. It is the wide version of the Mondrian bedside table; the Mondrian sideboard adds a marble top and is lower and longer.
