Mondrian bedside table

Built from blocks of different sizes stacked against each other, the Mondrian bedside table is 52 cm wide, 50 cm deep and 54 cm high. A vertical strip of bronzed brass runs through the body and separates the volumes, making the joins visible instead of hiding them.

The wooden structure and the drawers are covered entirely in leather, in categories B, C or D, so there is no visible wood or lacquer. Open compartments sit next to closed drawers. In the Mondrian collection the same construction appears in a wider chest of drawers and in a low sideboard with a marble top.
