Freud sofa
Freud is a modular sofa with a low, rectilinear build: wide seats, full arms with sharp edges and a height of 68 cm throughout. Single elements are 106, 110 or 136 cm wide and 110 cm deep, plus a 110 cm corner, a matching pouf and a 136 cm chaise end 170 cm deep. Suggested compositions range from a straight 272 or 378 cm sofa to corner and U-shaped layouts of 352 by 352 cm.
The frame is wood and metal with polyurethane foam, upholstered in fabric or leather. A quilted band runs along the back as a decorative detail, and fabric versions can have side panels in smooth or matelassé leather. The base and inserts are metal in bronzed brass or chrome.
