Abbraccio sofa
In the Abbraccio sofa the armrests and backrest run as one continuous curve around a wide, deep seat, so the piece reads as a single rounded volume rather than a frame with loose cushions. The back is formed by one or two padded tubular elements set behind the seat.
The frame is wood and metal, padded with polyurethane foam and covered in fabric or leather from the collection. Below it runs a visible bronzed-metal base shaped as one unbroken band. The large version is 280 cm long and 117 cm deep; two versions are 220 cm long and 91 cm deep, all 82 cm high. The armchair, chair and chaise longue of the series repeat the same wrapped outline.
