Syncro doors

Syncro is a sliding door system by Giuseppe Bavuso in which several panels move together. When one panel is pulled, the others follow at the same moment, and this happens without a connecting plate between them or a guide pin in the floor, so the threshold stays clear.

The system runs on tracks with 2, 3 or 4 lanes, and the panels overlap neatly when open. Each one is made to measure, up to 318 × 150 cm. The Syncro mechanism is also being extended to other sliding doors in the Rimadesio range, which makes it suitable for wide openings between living spaces.
