Aura doors

Aura is an interior door by Giuseppe Bavuso reduced to a flat surface, framed by a jamb of minimal thickness. The leaf swings in both directions, so it works well between a kitchen and dining area or on a corridor that is used in both ways.

Two closing options are offered: a patented magnetic profile or a magnetic lock. Both rely on magnets rather than a latch mechanism, which keeps the movement light and quiet. Compared with the Air doors, which run full height and sit flush in the wall, Aura is the simpler choice built around a visible slim frame.
