Stripe doors

Stripe is a sliding door by Giuseppe Bavuso marked by aluminum crosspieces that run across the glass. They are mounted on both faces of each panel, so the door looks the same from either side and can be used anywhere in the home, between living and sleeping areas, or in an office.

The horizontal bars set a rhythm on the glass and break up the light passing through it, so the pattern changes with the time of day and the angle of view. Stripe is a strongly graphic option compared with plain glass panels.
