Soho doors

Soho is a collection of sliding panels by Giuseppe Bavuso that borrows from the sliding partitions of traditional Japanese houses. The panels can close off a room or leave it open to the next one, so the same divider both separates and links spaces.

The reference is translated into current materials. Wood grain plays a visible part, working with the horizontal and vertical lines of the room, while the overall effect stays light and lets daylight through. Soho fits a living area, a bedroom or a study where a lighter divider is wanted instead of a solid wall.
