Moon doors

Moon is a flush door by Giuseppe Bavuso designed so that door and wall read as one plane. Special profiles conceal the joint between the leaf and the frame, leaving almost no visible line where the door begins, so it connects the furniture of a room with its architecture.

As a swing door, the leaf sits flush with the wall and can be installed to open inward or outward, as a push or a pull door. The height is always made to measure. The floor-to-ceiling solution shows the idea most clearly, because the door then looks like one more panel in the wall rather than an opening cut into it.
