Kita rug

Kita is a flat-woven rug made with the kilim technique. Down the middle runs a fine braid formed from the threads of the weave itself, a raised line that suggests the outline of a mountain ridge.

The rug comes in 2 sizes and 3 colors: granite, forest and clay. A flat weave lies low, which makes Kita practical under a dining table or in a hallway, and in a bedroom beside the bed. Compared with Kanji, a round high-pile rug, Kita is the lighter, flatter option.
