Kanji rug

Kanji is a round rug with a deep, hand-knotted pile. The tufts are worked so that the surface recalls the strokes of a brush drawing Japanese characters.

It is offered in one color, Ivory, which keeps the attention on the texture rather than on a pattern. A round rug like this suits a reading corner, the space under a coffee table or a bedroom floor, and it pairs naturally with the Japanese-inspired Daimon doors from the same catalog.
