Floyd bookcase

Instead of a rectangular case, the Floyd bookcase is round in plan: circular tiers stacked one above another, each turned slightly against the next, so open and closed sections alternate as you walk around it. It works as a freestanding piece in the middle of a room as well as against a wall.

The shelves are metal with a bronze enamel finish, each topped with a disc of marble from the collection, and the vertical uprights are upholstered in leather. The top shelf has a brushed brass edge and a mechanism that lets it rotate. Two heights are available, 152 and 190 cm, with a footprint 55 cm across. The Floyd bedside table shares the leather and bronze finishes.
