Lambda table
Lambda is a table by Giuseppe Bavuso whose idea starts from the base. Two supports shaped like sheets of paper folded upward lean toward each other and meet under the middle of the top, drawing the outline of the Greek letter that gave the table its name. Seen from the side it looks light, yet the structure is very solid.
There is a single-material version in which top and base share one finish: marble with its natural veining, wood with its grain, or Terrae, a soft-textured surface applied by hand that Rimadesio developed recently. Dimensions are given in the factory datasheet.
