Mathieu desk
Mathieu, a writing desk that Emmanuel Gallina designed in 2017 for the bedroom, has a slender silhouette and a top with gently curved edges. Those curves soften the straight lines of the painted metal legs.
The top is built as a solid wood frame, in Spessart oak or black elm, around an MDF panel with a leather inlay in one of 7 colors. The legs are finished in matte or glossy brown nickel. Two extras are optional and can be added separately: a small drawer fixed beneath the top, and a mirror.
