Koishi coffee table
Koishi means "pebble" in Japanese, and Jean-Marie Massaud's coffee tables from 2020 take their rounded, irregular outlines from stones worn smooth by water. They come in three heights, 270, 480 and 530 mm, so a low table in front of the sofa can be grouped with one or two taller ones that work as side tables.
The base is painted metal, sculptural but kept to a minimum, in a burnished or a matte champagne finish, and each table can take a different top, so a group of two or three need not match. Tops are MDF veneered in black elm or gold oak, or made in stone, glass or marble: the stone is brushed Ebano, the glass a reflective blue, and there are 12 marbles.
Prices are on request: they depend on size, finish and delivery. We ship worldwide and reply within one working day.
