AR1 serving trolley
AR1 is a bar trolley that Alfred Roth designed in 1930, now produced again as a numbered, handcrafted piece. The frame is brushed and chromed steel tube, 20 mm in diameter, running on chromed wheels with white rigid tires.
On the frame sits a cabinet in black-lacquered maple with two small flap doors, next to an ice holder in light sheet metal and a bottle rack in perforated aluminum. A top in multilayer board, edged with a steel profile and covered in black melamine, pulls out to give a serving surface. It suits a living or dining room where drinks are served from a mobile piece rather than a fixed bar.
