Morgana chest of drawers

Morgana, designed by Daniele Lago in 1996, is a chest of drawers whose drawers are stacked one above another and pivot on a joint hidden inside. Each drawer can turn and slide out to the side in four directions, so the column can be left neat or twisted into a staggered, sculptural shape. Wheels at the base let it move from room to room.

The number of drawers is chosen from 1 to 7: a low stack works as a bedside table, a tall one as a chest, and the factory sees it in bedroom, living room or bathroom. The structure is lacquered, and the fronts have 7 finish lines in glass and XGlass, so drawers can be combined in different colors. A separate Morgana bedside table has up to three drawers.
